Assess How Recovery-Supportive Your Workplace Is

A recovery-supportive workplace is one that has policies, practices, and a culture that support worker wellbeing, including recovery from substance use. This assessment looks at how your workplace supports workers throughout their time on the job—from hiring to day-to-day experience and retention.

This short assessment helps you reflect on your workplace practices and identify practical next steps to better support workers in recovery or with substance use concerns.

After completing the assessment, you’ll receive:

  • A printout of your responses to share with your organization
  • Recommended action steps and resources for each focus area

These suggestions are designed to help you take realistic, meaningful steps toward becoming a more recovery-supportive workplace.
